December 1st
Ulster Siamese & All Breed Cat Club show in Bangor Co. Down
We quickly settle into our regular Bangor B&B

A really enjoyable weekend and possibly my last reports for Out Cats --- but the future of the paper is still unsure, so perhaps Ill be back to it in 2008
Little Georgie came 2nd in his open and had 3 more 2nd places and two 3rd placings in his other classes before snuggling up under his blanket

Nutmeg gained her 1st British CC with BOB --- thank you to Mr George Gow and then had 4 1st placing
and 2 2nd in her other classes --- one 2nd being the all breed Pat Hanna memorial class.
She also beat Donna in some of the classes

The great celebration was around little Donna who gained her 3rd CC to become a Champion again thank you to Mr George Gow
She also had 4 1st places and 2 2nd places in her
How appropriate that Donna was made up in N Ireland, the homeland of her Grand-Siure Hunmar Level Crossing who sadly died recently after loving care from Lin and Wendy Liton-Smithin Sheffield

November 15th
Donna and Desis kittens are now registered, as I had to move Desi from the non-active to active list.
There is a likely buyer for Ennodius, and they are both full of character

BRACKEN UPDATE
To all who have so kindly enquired about Bracken --- a big thank you for caring.
He was making slow but fairly steady progress until the wound became very sore again over a week back,
so he is currently in SVCC lapping up the nursing care with treatment applied 4 times a day.
All being well Ill be back to normal myself and he will be home on Tuesday
Sept. 14th
Not the best of days
Well, we should have been en route to Carrickfergus for the Erin show, but David and Sam phoned in the nick of time
to save us sailing as Grace Denny only pulled out yesterday and with no other BSH judge available at such short notice,
the section can only be a sanction status. Very disappointing, but worse for our Irish friends who can get to so few shows.
Bracken has been to and from HVCC for prophylactic antibiotics and other medication for his pellet wounds,
but has been disturbed by the actitivty of a wasp nest which was attended by Pest control today.
He has irritated the wound and is now in HVCC as an in-patient.
Sept 9th
Dorrie left for her new home with Hugh and his family this evening
September 6th

but nowhere near as serious as feared.
So both home and relaxing!

Bingley once more and a good day too!
We put a good Bracken photo in his pen and a little notice to let people know what has happened to him
Dezi has seemed a little worried by some young people since Brackens accident, so he stayed home as well.
Georgie had a good day and took BOB over a highly titled queen as well as the trophy for the Persian with best eye colour.
Nutmeg made her debut and won her BOB and did well in side classes
Soprano (Sissie) won the Tabby/spotted BSH class gaining the BOB (and the usual trophy)
and with Assumpta coming in 2nd place. Both had other good placings.
Both queens won their Championship/Gr status classes.
It was also the 5th birthday for the litter of 7 --- so once home there was birthday tea for Assumpta and Tansy,
plus Lena (Ascelina) who is staying just now.

August 8 2007
Sometimes one really wonders about the mentally of ones fellow human beings!
On Monday night somebody (?!?) attacked our lovely boy in his pen --- I found Bracken trembling on the floor of his pen
part covered in blood
On his usual perch were 2 small black pebbles or pellets and a lump of his fur.
The photo shows part of the injury after we had been to see Vet; Kevan for all that was needed, plus antibiotic cover and other injections.
He sees Kevan again on Friday
Today Bracken is recovering and has appetite is back
Regarding who-ever did this ---- words can not express my thoughts!

July 21st
Edinburgh cat show
Well Donna could not go as on maternity leave
We left at 02.30 in quite thunder storm and Dorrie was too scared so we left her at home as well.
Nutmeg was 2nd again in her open, but did well in side classes, even winning the truly large Crystal Clear Class

A good day. Persee and I went along to Pat & John Kidds for a while before returning for results and my our cats reportage. --- it was great to be able to report the wins in the collage!

Donna gained her 1st British GCCF CC. The BOB went to to the most purrfect boy!
--- I had not noticed the judge change, so it was extra special to realise it was from Ronnie Brooks
The gorgeous boy had the BOB
Donna missed out on the CC, but then did really well in side classes with good completion.

Plans to go to Limerick cat show scupper courtesy of the postal system and entry and cash never reached Eire.
I have only just got around to officially getting the kittens advertised for sale --- 2 black, 2 tortie spotties and Didymus.
Perhaps as well as I am busy with Governor activities, esp. for Lilycroft.

Dotty seen at Vets and making good progress --- not that shes behaving that well with the antibiotic!!!! More on me than in her
Jan 2007
Dotty has been off colour and in fact very quiet ever since Kiselle died.
I was away to the NEEC for a few days --- many thanks to Pat for seeing to the cats as Pet Palz have disbanded.
Dotty seemed to vomit alternate days and just look lack lustre so Jan 10th it was off to SVCC and Kevan and I could feel a lump in the epigastria area, so she stayed for investigations, etc.
Next day Neil rang to say a mass was visible in the epigastria on x-ray and scan and so she was for surgery the next day
Unbelievably the operation found nothing abnormal present, and Dotty is recovering well
