RED LETTER DAY December 22nd 2005
We set off soon after 8.30am for Scotland, reaching Ken & Helens in good time where the Cavaliers had a great day.

Gabby & Hetty at the border --- Persee was snoozing in the car!
Ken came with me to George Gows as today is the day --- our Wee Georgie (a.k.a. Gowlaren Iamgarfield) is coming home
--- Thank you so much George he is absolutely gorgeous

Georgie
Thank you too to Helen & Ken for the hospitality and much enjoyed repast.
Getting home was delayed by hitting something in a lay-by and needing new wheel,
but the AA (well Naylors of Harrogate) are truly most helpful as the emergency service we needed.

With Hetty

April 3rd 2005, Supreme GCCFI show
To be in Dublin from the Friday for a weekend so full of international concentration
upon Rome was an incredible religious and humane experience.
I can only congratulate RTE1 TV and radio for their excellent use of appropriate music
as the two days progressed.
To share in a service on the Saturday evening was inspiring indeed and then to listen to a play
about marriage written by the late Pope himself was indeed an education.
The Supreme GCCFI Show was a good day. There was disappointment for one of my three cats, but at least she had the 1st.
My congratulation are for my one and only Cadifee Bracken Lad, who gained his 3rd Gr C C and BOB to become an
INTERNATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION. Ill be on cloud 9 ½ for weeks yet.
But even more exciting was to come: Dotty (Gr Ch & Int Pr Cadifee Dotsabracken)
gained her 1st Irish Gr P C and BOBand then went on to become Best of Variety British Neuter.

It was so exciting and she behaved 'purrfectly' as she crossed the high table of judges.
My thanks to Mrs Ronnie Brooks for both their Grand certificates and George Gow for the BOV.
Dotty is Brackens dam, so that put me even higher to cloud 10 --- if there is one!
Thank you, too, to Mrs Joan Smith for a great day stewarding as she judged the Persian section,
and also to Loretta Spratt who shared my first time as 1st steward at a Supreme.
It was great to celebrate with friends at the dinner and George was on great form.

good day stewarding for Mrs. Kalal
